All drama sessions are led by Rosie Burgess, Founder of Drama Club Salisbury, who is an Ofsted registered childminder, passionate about working with children and young people.
Creativity Club is devised by Rosie and run by Lil Mitchell, who is a local Primary School teacher.
Any additional supporting staff are DBS-checked, trained in first aid & safeguarding, and committed to providing a safe, positive environment.
Yes! We currently accept the following childcare voucher schemes:

· HMRC Tax-Free Childcare – You can find us listed as Drama Club Salisbury (Address: Idmiston Parish Memorial Hall)
We’re happy to register with other voucher providers if needed—just let us know the name of your provider and we’ll do our best to get set up.
Childcare vouchers can be used for all our clubs and workshops, including LAMDA and after school clubs.
Not at all! We welcome children of any ability and we love the opportunity to create the right environment for your child to grow, develop and thrive.
We welcome children from age 4/5 and upwards. Each workshop or club session will clearly state the intended age range, but these are flexible! Please do book your child on if you feel they would enjoy it.
Yes, we are Ofsted registered!
Our registration means:
· Parents can use childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare payments.
· We follow high standards of care, safeguarding, and learning.
· We’re committed to ongoing quality and safety in everything we offer.

Workshops and clubs are held at either:
Idmiston Parish Memorial Hall, in Porton
Pitton Primary School, Pitton
Chafyn Grove School, Salisbury – either in the Pre-Prep Hall, Dining Hall or the Performance Hall.
For term time drama clubs, children can wear an optional DCS hoodie or T-shirt.
For holiday or stand alone drama workshops, a DCS T-shirt can be worn, but comfortable clothes they can move in are the most important!
Make & Create sessions require comfortable, suitable for crafting clothes.
Tie hair back for all sessions please
All children should bring a named water bottle to every session.
If it is a lunchtime session, please do not bring nuts in line with our nut free policy.
No – we explore a wide range of theatre skills, including voice, movement, improvisation, character creation, storytelling, singing, dancing and sometimes even behind-the-scenes elements. It’s a full, creative experience that builds teamwork, confidence and fun.
Yes! We love to share what we’ve been working on. Depending on the session, this may include end-of-term performances, or informal showcases for family and friends.
Yes – we do a Free trial session for both LAMDA and after school clubs. This gives us both the opportunity to check we are happy before commitment.
If workshops are cancelled within 30 days of the workshop date, no refund will be given.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for illness or injury
We are proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive space. If your child has specific educational, behavioural or emotional needs, we’re happy to discuss them with you before the session to make sure we are able to provide the right support.
We have a strict Photography Policy and consent form. Nothing will be shared without your consent.
