Photography Policy
Purpose
Drama Club Salisbury recognizes the importance of capturing memorable moments during our activities, rehearsals, and performances. To ensure the safety and privacy of our young members, this policy outlines the guidelines for photographing children and sharing these images within the club.

Photography Permissions
1. Consent Requirement

All parents or legal guardians must provide written consent for their child to be photographed during Drama Club Salisbury activities.

Consent forms will be distributed at the beginning of each term and must be signed and returned before any photographs are taken.
2. Photography Guidelines

Photographs should be taken in a respectful and appropriate manner.

Photographers must avoid capturing images of children in compromising or inappropriate situations.

Group photos are preferred. If individual photos are required, explicit permission must be obtained from the child's parent or guardian.
3. Children’s Use of Phones

Children are not allowed to take photographs with their own phones during club activities unless they have received explicit permission from a club administrator.

4. Use of Photographs

Photographs will be used for club-related purposes only, including promotion, documentation, and sharing within the club's private groups.

Sharing Photographs on Private Platforms
1. WhatsApp Group

Parents or guardians must provide specific consent for their child’s photos to be shared in the Drama Club Salisbury's private members-only WhatsApp group.

Photos shared in the WhatsApp group should be relevant to club activities and respectful of all members.
2. Facebook Page

Parents or guardians must provide specific consent for their child’s photos to be shared on the Drama Club Salisbury's private members-only Facebook page.

Photos shared on the Facebook page should be relevant to club activities and respectful of all members.

The Facebook page will have strict privacy settings to ensure that only approved members can view the content.
Obtaining Permission

A consent form will be provided to all parents or guardians at the beginning of each term.

The form will include options to grant or deny permission for photographing their child and for sharing photos on the WhatsApp group and Facebook page.
2. Written Permission

Parents or guardians must check the appropriate boxes and sign the consent form to indicate their preferences.

Forms must be returned to the club's administration before any photographs are taken or shared.
Revoking Consent
1. At Any Time:

Parents or guardians have the right to revoke their consent at any time by providing written notice to the club’s administration.

Upon revocation, no further photographs of the child will be taken or shared, and all existing photos will be removed from the club's platforms.
Policy Compliance

The club’s administration will monitor compliance with this policy.

Any breach of this policy will be addressed promptly, and appropriate action will be taken.
2. Member Responsibilities
