Step into the world of medicine with our Healthcare Professional Workshop! A one-of-a-kind, high-energy, fully immersive experience for children aged 5 to 11! Led by Rosie who has a nursing degree and is St John’s Ambulance Paediatric First Aid trained, this is not just play with no substance; it’s a powerful blend of education, inspiration, and full-on fun! Children will: • Learn real first aid techniques in an age-appropriate way • Rotate through multiple real-life roles : Doctor, Nurse, Receptionist, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist (to name just a few)! • Have clipboards, props, costumes and have authority in their role • Admit, diagnose, treat, nurse, dispense and discharge real (healthy volunteer) patients • Make decisions, work as a team, and take on leadership in a supportive, safe space All materials provided — they just bring their imagination! This workshop helps children build: • Confidence • Teamwork and leadership skills • Empathy and communication • Problem-solving and critical thinking And they’ll have an absolute BLAST doing it Nothing like this has ever been done before in Salisbury.
